Color Love Quilt update #1

The pattern was designed to be a 5 month block of the month, but if you're like us, we can't wait that long to make a quilt!  Abbi Mays sells this as a kit.

Color Love is Nancy Rink's new fashion palette of mid-bright textures and geometric motifs, anchored by a deep blue ground Jacobean inspired floral.

With subtle print motifs like plaids, fireworks, chubby flowers and various textures, the collections is geared to quilters who want something fresh and flexible.  The fabrics used are from the collection Color Love designed by Nancy Rink for Marcus Brothers.

First thing to do is decide which one to do: traditional or appliqued center:




We are going to do the fusible laser cut appliqued one.


Our sewer Sue, will be making the block and I'll do the applique.
